Climate

Doha experiences a hot desert climate. The warm season lasts between May and September, experiencing average high temperatures of 37°C, though sometimes reaching much higher. The cold season lasts from December to March with an average temperatures usually 25°C and below. February is the ideal time to visit Doha, when the average temperature is a balmy 20°C.

Language

Arabic is the official language, and most Qataris speak a dialect of Gulf Arabic similar to that spoken in surrounding states.English is widely spoken and understood in all cities and Tourist areas.
