Dar es Salaam is the largest city and economic capital of Tanzania, and East Africa’s second busiest port. Its name comes from the Arabic language and means "House of Peace”. There are plenty of attractions for tourists including excellent craft markets, diverse architecture, restaurants and nearby sandy beaches and islands, all with a signature relaxed vibe.
