Because if it’s happening in the air, it started on the ground in one of our specialised units. You’ll be exposed to network planning, revenue management, strategy and planning, sales and marketing, corporate communications and media, as well as product development and service delivery. It’s where the action is, and you’ll be at the heart of it all.

Learn
from the best
Our structured commercial graduate program starting in XXX will see you begin your journey at Oman Air with two weeks’ formal induction and training. During your first week of induction, you’ll receive soft and hard skills training directly from senior commercial leadership. You’ll also be provided with an overview of each commercial department and how it all comes together to drive revenue and service delivery for the airline. You’ll take your first flight as an employee of Oman Air and spend two days shadowing one of our country managers to see how we run our business overseas.
In your second week, we’ll fly you to IATA’s European headquarters in Geneva where you’ll receive world-class formal training and sit an exam for the prestigious IATA Air Transport Management Certificate. The rest of your 2-year program will see you spend three to four months rotating around each commercial function. Throughout this time, you’ll continue to receive training and have a dedicated senior leadership mentor on your entire journey.

Revenue Management
Learn what it takes to lead an

With a head for numbers, you can
help develop pricing strategies

Persuasive selling skills and

Product Development
Product development has an
impact on every aspect of the
passenger experience and is
essential for retaining customers.
This includes the seats onboard,
catering, amenity kits, crew
uniforms, in-flight entertainment
and more.

from point of origin to destination
demands customer-centric thinking
and exceptionally high delivery

The Future Leaders Commercial Graduate Program is tailored to the best and brightest university graduates and builds on the culture of excellence within Oman Air’s commercial department. Graduation in
2021-2022 Only
2.1 or GPA of 3.3 and above from a reputable university
Degree subject that requires a high level of numerical analysis
Excellent spoken and written English
Demonstratable passion for travel and willingness to relocate outside of Oman
