Flight Delays & Cancellation

Oman Air aims to meet on-time departure on all flights, however, there are situations when delay/cancellation occur for a number of reasons beyond our control, such as; weather; enroute-operating conditions; technical snags; and security and safety reasons.
In case of long delays or flight cancellation, you will be updated of such changes as long as a contact details has been provided in your reservation history at the time of purchasing ticket.
If ticket and reservation have been made through travel agents, Oman Air will have only the contact details of your travel agent and not you. Therefore, any subsequent delays or cancellations will be informed to respective travel agents, who would then be responsible to keep you posted accordingly.
We strive to work towards providing you a seamless travel experience and it is our endeavor to minimize causing inconvenience to you during flight disruptions and to ensure that you are made as comfortable as possible.
